Application and use

Root-ball netting or wire mesh is used for the packaging and securing of root balls of trees. The netting eliminates the need for a hand tying burlap and is therefore a practical alternative. By using root-ball netting the root ball stays compact and very well manageable during transport and storage. 

Protection of root and soil

Root ball netting keeps the soil and structure of the roots firmly together, therefore the root ball will be kept intact and it prevents damage during transportation of the tree which contributes to a better protection of the tree and ensures a neat finish in the subsequent process. 

Efficient and cost-effective

Working with netting increases speed of packaging compared to traditional manual methods. This leads to a more efficient packaging process and lower labour costs, therefore benefiting from a consistent way of packaging with fewer handling steps.
