Application and use

Wrapping film or silage film is used for packaging bales of grass. By wrapping the bales airtight they are protected against weather conditions and they are easy to transport and store. This method of packaging is widely used within the agricultural sector.

The use of silage film contributes to a constant quality of silage all year round. The closed packaging contributes to the conservation of structure and nutritional value, therefore, keeping the feed available for cattle. This ensures more control of the feed supply and loss of quality is reduced. 

Suitable for different types of bales

The wrapping foil is suitable for the use of all common hay-bale presses, for both round as well as square sized bales. The exact application is dependant on the type of machine and what kind of bale system is chosen. The foil can be processed smoothly and ensures an even wrapping.
